Owner and Managing Paralegal
Hilary has over a decade of experience as a paralegal and has had extensive involvement within all the daily operations of a law firm including support staff management, client intake, case management, and billing & collections. Hilary’s career as a freelance paralegal has provided her the unique opportunity to work with solo attorneys and small law firms within every area of law and in dozens of states and jurisdictions. Hilary has assisted law firms throughout the country create and implement streamlined solutions for all aspects of their firm’s operations and has trained their staff on how to effectively utilize these processes. Hilary’s knowledge of the role of a paralegal within a law firm and the behind-the-scenes operations of the firm allows her to advise her clients on how to operate in a highly efficient and cost-effective manner, increasing overall productivity and billable hours.
Heather
Legal Recruiting Manager and Paralegal
Heather brings over 15 years of experience as a paralegal within both private law firms and the Probate and Administrative State Courts to her freelance career. Heather’s extensive experience as a freelance paralegal has provided her the opportunity to work with and on the legal teams of a wide variety of law firms. Heather utilizes her experience in the day-to-day operations of a law practice and assisting with paralegal and support staff training to help find the best paralegals to staff your firm.
Previously, Heather was a member of the e-file advisory board to create and implement processes for workflows to bring all Michigan Probate Court jurisdictions into compliance for the new e-filing platform. Heather holds a Degree in Paralegal Studies and maintains current knowledge and skills through continuing CLE’s, and participation in a large network of legal professionals who provide regular seminars and continued training in all fields of law.
